One of the biggest benefits in managing audits within ZenGRC is the ease in creating, managing, and responding to audit requests for information. The application then stores a trail of all responses and evidence attachments for effortless access and viewing.
If your organization has integrated with Jira or ServiceNow, please review the documentation at Step 1: Adding Basic Audit Information. All other organizations have access to the newly redesigned audit setup and should follow the instructions at Step 1. Info. To see the difference, click the blue button in the upper, left corner called New. If there is an option for Audit (Internal) and Audit (External), please follow the steps at Step 1: Adding Basic Audit Information. Other organizations now have the redesigned audit pages, which is documented in Step 1. Info.
IMPORTANT
It is critical that your organization has already set up your compliance program framework in ZenGRC and has set it up in the Program Onboarding wizard prior to conducting an audit. This allows you to select controls in an audit that are important to your organization and then gather evidence to verify their effectiveness.
