Overview

The Object Mapper provides an easy way for you to associate, or "map," one object with another.

Ways to Access the Object Mapper

During Audit Creation

The Object Mapper is used during Step 2 and Step 3 of audit creation and is also explained in that documentation. While the steps are identical to the information provided here, we include audit-specific instructions that can be found in Step 2: Defining the Scope and Step 3: Setting up Audit Requests.

From a Module's Home Page

You can map or unmap items directly from each module's home page.

Within an Item's Details Tab

After opening an item, you can conduct mapping

From the Tree View

The tree view provides a visual narrative of your compliance program. Your mappings between people, objectives, programs, policies, standards, audits, and processes are clearly displayed. The further down the tree you go, the deeper the detail.

To display the tree view on a module's home page, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the gray arrow next to an item.

  2. Mappings to the item are expanded beneath.
  3. Continue selecting categories to view further view mappings.

  4. This is also where you can map objects.

Within the Audits Module
