Overview

After factors, vectors and scores are set up in Risk Settings, scores can be calculated for each individual risk. After all of those steps are complete, the Risk Heatmap will become populated with data to help with risk analysis and mitigation.

Creating a Risk

To create a new risk from the Risk Heatmap home page, complete the following steps:

  1. Click New in the top left of the navigation.

  2. Scroll down to select Risk.
  3. The New Risk page displays.
  4. Complete the information for the new risk and click Save. Scoring cannot be calculated prior to saving.

Scoring a Risk

On a saved risk, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Risk Scoring tab. A risk is the only object that has this tab.
  2. Make selections and click Calculate

Finding Risks by Name

The Risk Heatmap provides valuable information for your risk management program, but it may prove to be challenging to find a risk by name. As with all objects, risks have a module under the System of Record that provides an easy way to filter, mass update, or export risks.

To find a risk by name, complete the following steps:

  1. Click System of Record | Risks under the Risks heading.

  2. The Risks home page displays.
