Overview

The To-Do List compiles all assessments, requests and tasks in one section that are assigned to ZenGRC users. The assignees are sent email notifications on the items needing attention. 

Accessing the To-Do List

To access theTo-Do List, complete the following steps:Click To-Do List in the left-hand navigation.

Viewing Upcoming Items

The To-Do List automatically defaults to your current list that needs immediate attention. However, you can quickly see the items that will be added to your To-Do Items list once the current assignee submits information or verifies a submission. These are typically items that list you as a reviewer or verifier.

To view upcoming items, complete the following steps:
  1. Click the Upcoming items tab.
  2. The page refreshes.
  3. Select the Tasks, Assessments, or Requests sub tab to view the items in your queue.

Viewing Submitted Items

You can also quickly see the items already submitted and alter them if necessary.

  3. Select the Tasks, Assessments, or Requests sub tab to view the items in your queue.

Viewing Completed Items

Items you've already addressed can be viewed and changed, if necessary.
To view items you've completed, complete the following steps:Click the Completed items tab.

    To open a task, complete the following steps:

  • Select a main tab and the Tasks sub tab.
  • Click a linked task in the Title column.

    Control Assessments

    To open an assessment, complete the following steps:

  • Select a main tab and the Assessments sub tab.
  • Click a linked assessment in the Title column.

    Requests

    To view requests, complete the following steps:

  • Select a main tab and the Requests sub tab.
  • Click a linked request in the Title column.

    Creating a New Item

    The To-Do List provides the ability to create a new task, assessment or request directly on the To-Do List module.

    To create a new item on the To-Do List, complete the following steps:

  • Select a main tab.
  • Click the TasksAssessments or Requests sub tab.

    Depending on the sub tab selected, a button displays to create a new object.

  • Click New (object).
  • The new form displays.
  • In the Audit dropdown, select the audit to which the new item should be mapped.

    Exporting from the To-Do List

    Assessments, requests and tasks can be exported directly from the To-Do List. Each object type is exported separately, but they all share common steps. Include PageDI:Tip - Export CSV or ZipDI:Tip - Export CSV or ZipTo export information for objects associated with your to-do list, complete the following steps:
  • Select a main tab.
  • Click the TasksAssessments or Requests sub tab.

    On the displayed page, select headings for data to export. The export only contains information for the headings shown.

    Click Export CSV. The CSV file downloads in the manner specified in your browser.

    Alternatively, you can click Download ZIP. The zip file downloads in the manner specified in your browser and includes all attachments added to the object.

    Actions on the To-Do List

    The To-Do List has navigation and functionality common across the module home pages in the application. You can perform activities such as bulk editing, filtering data and status updates. And opening a linked item displays the details page that has additional fields to edit and other functionality.
