Overview

During audit setup, administrators assign action items to team members who receive daily email reminders from ZenGRC. The email contains links directing them to the To Do List, which is the single point of interaction between the audit manager and the person responding to requests.

The following are general rules surrounding daily email notifications:

  • Users only receive daily email notification if they have items assigned or if they are item verifiers.
  • Items are only included in the daily email notification after their start dates.
  • The following are included in the daily email notification:
    1. Evidence request (request)
    2. Control assessment (assessment)
    3. Task (workflow task)

Addressing Email Notifications for Action Items

To respond to a request for information found in the action item email, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the email containing the daily compliance notification

  2. Click Go to Your To-Do List.

    TIP

You can also click an individual action item from within the email. Each of your to-do items are listed and linked directly to the application, allowing you to bypass the master to-do list.

    NOTE

Administrators have the option to switch off daily email notification for the entire ZenGRC instance. This only impacts the daily email notification and not any other notifications in the application.

    TIP

For more information on managing your action item requests, see To-Do List.
