Benefits

The Vendors module of ZenGRC simplifies the tracking of vendors and their corresponding risk profiles. It allows your team to do the following:

• Access a centralized area to view details of all your organization's vendors and potential vendors.
• With help from a GRC expert, create customized surveys for requesting a vendor's data security information.
• Electronically send and receive surveys, which are stored in the system.
• Gauge security risks involved in doing business and exchanging information with the vendors.
• Track the history of survey requests, responses, and risk ratings.
• Comment on any activity relevant to the safety of conducting business with that organization.

Overview

The Vendors home page displays information at a glance surrounding the companies. It also provides an easy way to edit attributes in bulk or individually without opening each item.

This module can also be used to manage vendor compliance to specific controls and/or objectives. Vendors can even be set as an audit target by mapping relevant controls to them.

Accessing Vendors

There are two ways to access the Vendors page from the left-hand navigation. They include the following:

1. Click Vendors.

2. Click System of Record | Vendors (under the Business Objects heading).
