Audit Status

ZenComply Help

What is the Audit Status Workflow?

As you work through your Audit Program in ZenComply, the Audit status will update dependent on users performing specific activities.

See below for expanded explanations for each Audit Status workflow stage:

SETUP

This audit status is completed during the Program Setup when a user sets up an audit for the first time.

Please see the Program Setup Admin Guide for Configuring the name, description, program manager, and the scope for the audit.

EVIDENCE ASSIGNMENT

This audit status is active only after the audit is launched within Program Setup.

Evidence Assignment status reflects the action required of the Program Manager or Control Assessor to assign the Evidence Providers and activate the Evidence Request(s), which triggers a notification(s) to the Evidence Providers.

EXECUTION

After the first Evidence Request record changes from in-progress to in-review, the Audit status will transition to Execution. The first evidence request that gets submitted by an evidence provider pushes the workflow state to the execution state.

The Execution status reflects the Control Assessors evaluating the submitted evidence in order to assess the effectiveness of control design or operation.Ā

TREATMENT

The audit status will update to Treatment when the first Finding is created related to a Control Assessment.

COMPLETED

Once all Findings are closed, the audit status will display as Completed.

ARCHIVED

What am I Viewing?

On the Audit Overview landing page, the Audit status can be seen in the middle of the screen.

The current status of the Audit is indicated by the bolded blue and bordered Status.

Also provided in the center of the page, is information about the current Audit status and a prompt to an activity for you to complete, like, ā€œGo to evidence requests list.ā€
