Step 3. Set up audit

You have now reached the halfway point in Program Setup. After you have scoped the relevant requirements, you are now to confirm the specific details of your first Audit.

Information required for completion in this third step includes The Title of the Audit, the Audit Description, and the Audit time frame as well as assigning the Program Manager responsible for the Audit.

The Program Manager will be the user that has elevated access to both the Program and the Audit that is currently being created during the Program setup.

How do I set up my first audit?

In this third step, Set up audit, you will quickly be able to:

  1. Modify the pre-populated title

  2. Assign Program Managers and/or send an Invite to a Program Manager

  3. Add a unique audit description

  4. Confirm the audit start and end date

  5. Review all input data and proceed to Step 4. Assign control assessors


Insight & Helpful tips

Here are a few things to consider during Step 3. Set up audit:

  • Invite new users to ZenComply by assigning the Program Manager within the audit setup.

  • Audits are containers for all work required to maintain compliance for a program and are the main touchpoint for all users within ZenComply.

  • ZenComply uses these audit dates to auto-populate due dates for related Evidence Requests and the Control Assessments.

What am I viewing?

When you reach step 3, Set up audit, you will need to input the following required fields: title, description, and the start and end date

Here, you may also assign a Program Manager that will have elevated access to this Program and Audit.
