Overview
ZenGRC activities can be automatically broadcast to a Slack channel of your choice. This enhancement can be used with or without other notifications and is part of the ZenGRC Beta Program, in which any organization can participate.
Connecting Slack
Slack notifications can be generated in the same process as Instant Email Notifications in the Email Settings documentation. Or they can be configured in ways to better suit your organization.
Once enrolled in the program, the Slack link is populated in your instance. To connect ZenGRC to Slack, complete the following steps:

If instant email notifications are configured in Configuring Email Settings, notifications will be sent out in the workflow described in Email Notifications. Then you can further configure Slack options to fit your needs. |
Connecting Slack
After accessing the connector, complete the following steps to set up the connection: Include Page DI:NOTE - How to access connectors DI:NOTE - How to access connectors
- On the Slack page, click Add to Slack.
Complete the steps as displayed within Slack. Only administrators of the Slack workspace can make this connection.
- Once connected, the Slack page displays in ZenGRC.
