- Users only receive daily email notification if they have items assigned or if they are item verifiers.
- Items are only included in the daily email notification after their start dates.
- The following are included in the daily email notification:
- Evidence request (request)
- Control assessment (assessment)
- Task (workflow task)

In addition, tasks can be utilized in an audit or by themselves to request that a user complete an assigned activity.
Addressing Email Notifications for Action Items
To respond to a request for information found in the action item email, complete the following steps:
Open the email containing the daily compliance notification.
Click Go to Your To-Do List.

Administrators have the option to switch off daily email notification for the entire ZenGRC instance. This only impacts the daily email notification and not any other notifications in the application.
