Overview
After ServiceNow and ZenGRC are connected, you can manage and create audits inside ZenGRC while requests for audit information show up in visual task boards inside ServiceNow. This documentation outlines that process.

Existing audits cannot be converted to ServiceNow. The option can only be selected during the creation of a new audit after the ZenGRC and ServiceNow integration is complete. |
Step 1: Adding Basic Audit Information
To create a ServiceNow audit, complete the following steps:
- In the left-hand navigation, click New and select Audit.
Complete the fields and select ServiceNow, in the Managed in drop-down.
Click Next.
Tip title TIP Once Next is clicked, you can no longer change where the audit is managed.

Step 2: Defining the Scope
Step 2 in audit creation is the same for ServiceNow and regular audits.

Step 3: Setting up Audit Requests - ServiceNow
The majority of Step 3 follows the general instructions outlined in audits. The differences are outlined below.
- After downloading the requests template, there are only two columns to complete: Title and Description.
- Populate the ServiceNow requests template and import it. When the page displays details, the only action to take is to continue to the next step.

Step 4 and 5

Configuring ServiceNow
After importing requests for a ServiceNow audit, they are visible in ServiceNow. To finish audit setup, complete the following:
- Log into ServiceNow.
- Grant access to assignees on both the Visual task board and the request itself.
